Adam's Journey Continues — Paarl Community Registration Drive

Compassion does not belong to one town. The next chapter takes Adam's story to Paarl — and to every neighbour who chooses to answer.

Adam King, a six-year-old boy in a blue-checked shirt, smiling brightly in front of a soft brick wall.

Compassion does not belong to one town. Two weeks after neighbours filled the halls at Century City, Adam's journey continues — this time in Paarl, at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, on Saturday 15 August 2026 from 09:00 to 15:00.

The invitation is the same, and it is simple. If you are between 17 and 55 and in good health, you can register as a stem-cell donor with a cheek swab. That single act adds you to the DKMS Africa registry, where your details wait quietly until the day someone — a child, a parent, a grandparent — needs exactly what you can give.

Every new registration increases the chance that Adam, and countless other children and adults living with blood cancers, may one day find a life-saving match. Matches are rare and specific; the more people who register, the more families who get to write a next chapter.

If you live in Paarl, or you can find your way there on the day, we would love to see you. Bring a friend, bring a colleague, bring the person you always sit next to at church. Registration takes only a few minutes, and the ripple it starts can last a lifetime.

If you cannot attend in person, you can still help — share Adam's poster, share his video, and if you are able, consider a monetary contribution to DKMS Africa so more swab kits reach more communities. Compassion, tended together, becomes something that walks on its own.

Please share Adam's video with anyone in Paarl who could attend.
